1. Acceptance

By using Torv (“the Service”) you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Not Financial Advice

Torv is a personal financial planning tool. It is not a financial, tax, legal, or investment advisor, and nothing it produces is advice. Verify outputs and consult a qualified professional before making decisions.

3. Connected Financial Accounts

You may authorize Torv to access your financial-institution data through our aggregation provider (currently Quiltt, powered by MX and Finicity). Your bank credentials are managed by the aggregation provider and never stored by Torv. You can revoke access at any time from inside the app or through our contact form.

Data retrieved through Torv is for personal informational purposes and does not represent the official record of your accounts. We do not sell or commercialize this data.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to access systems or data you are not authorized to access, scrape or reverse-engineer the Service, resell or redistribute the Service or data obtained through it, or use it in violation of applicable law. We may suspend or terminate accounts that do.

5. Subscriptions

Pricing is shown on our website. Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled; you may cancel at any time and access continues through the end of the paid period. We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice before your next renewal.

6. No Warranties; Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access, or the accuracy of data retrieved from third parties or entered by you.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Torv is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and algorithms, belongs to Torv. Your data is yours.

8. Termination & Governing Law

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts of Lancaster County, Nebraska, after a good-faith attempt to resolve it informally through our contact form.
